Robert W. Luebbe Named President of Custom Powder Systems

He’s been with us from day one, and now Bob Luebbe will become president of our company. Current president and co-founder Dale (Mac) McIntosh will continue on as Chairman of the Board.
“It’s something we’ve been thinking about for almost 10 years,” said Mac. “Bob comes from the technical side, so he has the engineering and design background we need, and he’s also a premier salesperson.”
Custom Powder Systems has always been a tight-knit organization, and Bob has been an important part of the growth over the past 15 years.
“We’ve got a lot of good things happening now,” Luebbe says, “and I’m very excited about the projects that are opening up.”
Bob was one of the original owners when Custom Powder opened in 2005, but he and Mac go back to 1992. “Denise and Mac have a world of knowledge in their fields, and I’ve learned a great deal about leadership from them.”
“Bob’s work ethic is really unsurpassed,” added Mac. “He has great relationships with his clients, and whenever I’ve passed a client over to Bob, he never misses a beat.”
Bob’s sales and management philosophy is customer-centric and focused on developing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships. He believes first and foremost to always do the right thing for clients. His other priority is the Custom Powder team and making sure they’re working at the best place around. “Many on our staff are young, so my job is to train them with the same set of skills I’ve learned along the way.”
As Mac moves into his new role, he will continue to be a regular presence as a leader and mentor to everybody in the company.
As Luebbe points out, “it’s the same team in place as before,” so all the friendly faces and happy voices on the phone won’t change one bit.
We’re pretty good when it comes to customizing things, and this growth in our company is just another example of how we tailor-fit our team and services to serve you better.
