RAB (Restrictive Access Barrier System)

RABS is a Restrictive Access Barrier System that is a type of barrier system for aseptic processing of pharmaceutical products that reduces or eliminates interventions into the critical zone. RABS level of contamination control lies somewhere on the spectrum between a conventional clean room aseptic processing and an isolator. RABS is an attractive solution for existing clean rooms to improve filling quality and for applications that have higher flexibility requirements.
